Adenovirus Propagation - (Aug/25/2006 )

I purchased a packaged adenovirus from a company. I have enough vifus for now, but I just wanted to get a procedure to propagate this virus so that we do not have to buy another stock.

Any and all help is appreciated.

adenoviruses are usually amplified in 293 cells. u can use small amount to infect the cells, and produce a nice stock by few rounds of amplification..

I thought that this was the case, but just wanted to be sure.

Anyone have a protocol for adenovirus amplification in 293 cells? If so, please let me know.
