How do you analyse transcriptional factor binding sites within a particular promoter sequence? Thanks.

you can do some searching on this site; it has been brought up many times

one that I have had good luck with is www.genomatix.de; it is a little cumbersome but you can get loads of information. there are tiers of subscriptions depending on whether you want the freeware or you want to pay, and whether or not you're with an academic institution, etc. I have gotten good use from the freeware, but there are also some very sophisticated little tools with the upgraded membership

there are other sites, everyone has a preference....if you search old posts you can probably get a list going
