Yea, the Sybr Green is actually orange in colour, but I don't really know how it turn up to excite green colour? Anybody?

A general principle is that a good emiiter is also a good receiver of electromagnetic signals. This applies to radio antennas or molecules. If you can emit in the green, then you also absorb in the green. When you look at a solution absorbing in the green, it looks orange, since no green reflects from it.

Actually, my senior is using the Sybr Green dye for her experiment, I used to ask her the same question but she couldn't answer me. laugh.gif
