cloning of big insert(6.4Kb) in pUC18/19 - (Nov/28/2005 )

I am trying to clone 6.4 Kb insert in pUC19. But I am not able to do it. Please help me out.

Sometimes I am not getting colony after transformation. When I am getting colony it is not positive. Smaller size clone I am getting. and it is not releasing. After restriction digestion and purification my insert concentration is very less.
Help me with your experience.
