resoltuion of SDS-PAGE - help (Oct/26/2005 )

Is it possible to separate two proteins of 35 and 36KDa in an 8% or 10%SDS-PAGE gel? what is the maximum resolution in the linear range of 8and 10%gels?

10% is not enough... 15% will do the jobsurely better.

To complete post of Fred I would also use quite a long gel and not a minigel cause separation is hard to differentiate 1kDA differences on a minigel
