Pfu is Pol I or Pol II ?? - Silly Q.s. (Jun/22/2009 )
I suddently realize that, I just know Taq is Pol I, and I believed that Pfu should be Pol I too.
however, I search internet and found that some paper said Pfu DNA polymerase is Pol II......is that true ??

If you check Stratagene´s original US patent (5,545,552) you will find it described as Pyrococcus furiosus Pol I. Since these guys were the first to purify the enzyme from P. furiosus and subsequently clone it, I think they are probably right.
