Help! preparation of extracellular matrix-coated plate - (Apr/16/2009 )

Dear all, I wanna deposit extracellular matrix from cultured human fibroblast cells by lysing the cells and leave the matrix attach to the plate. I have tried several lysis solutions, but after lysing the cells, the matrix is easily detach from the plate surface. Could anybody give me a hand? What protocol and lysis solution do you use?

I've never done this, but you could try a hypo-osmotic solution without detergents (i.e. ordinary lysis without detergent), the cells should swell up and burst, hopefully leaving the ECM behind.
