Dilution of antibody - (Jul/31/2018 )

hi everyone.

im a newbie in the lab and I've ordered a new antibody that recommend to use the diluton 1µg/ml.

The vial is 100µl of the antibody. However, I do not know the concentration within the 100µl.

Can anybody help me to resolve my question which is, what is 1µg/ml in terms of dilution factors such as 1:1000 etc.

thanks

Check the data sheet that came with the antibody and have a look on the tube too. If you can post a link to the antibody that might help

Antibodies commonly come as 1 mg/ml and 0.5 mg/ml concentrations, though other concentrations are also supplied, so don't assume either of these.
