phosphate buffered saline solution for in vivo testing - (Nov/02/2017 )

what type of phosphate buffered saline should I use for in vivo injections? meaning injecting into humans

Check your ethics approval - there are likely protocols attached. Also check with the clinical side (i.e. Dr's involved in the study)- they should know this or have appropriate diluents available. Having said that PBS is not used clinically as far as I know (not a clinician), much more likely to use Ringers or normal saline.

bob, thanks for responding. I am injecting a peptide, I don't want to alter the peptide or impede it's effectiveness, what is a good solution to use.

here is the sequence for the peptide

I would doubt that changing the buffer to a more biologically suitable buffer would alter the peptide effectiveness - again, check with your clinical contacts and read your ethics approvals. Discuss with your PI too, they should have some idea, at least who to ask!
