autoantibody - (Mar/02/2016 )
Hi,
I just read a paper on detection of autoantibody in serum samples by ELISA. I dont quite understand how it works and would appreciate any help.
If I understand right the antigen, whose autoantibody we are detecting, has to be cloned and its protein expressed. The protein is purified an adsorbed onto ELISA plate on to which serum is added to detected if contains any IgG raised against the target antigen?
Thank you

It would probably help if had posted the paper in question.
