RNA extraction from cervical SWAB help - (Apr/07/2015 )

Dear all, 

I need to isolate genomic RNA from cervical swabs, I'm in doubt what should I use; RNA extraction kit or TRIZOL reagent, can you give me any advice or if you have protocols regarding this problem? I would really appreciate any kind of help!

I hope that the swabs are in rnalater or -80C. I prefer the RNA extraction kit, my favorite is RNeasy from Qiagen.
