Publications and CV - (Mar/24/2015 )
Hi
I want to apply for a scientific position in industry. In the posting it is asked for a cover letter and a CV only. Normally for academic jobs it is asked for list of publications. Does this mean industry is not interested or should I include them in CV?
The topic oft he publications would fit to the requirenments of the job discription, so I would have guessed it could be advantageous.
Thanks
I would definitely include important publications in your CV. Probably no more than 5.
Please consider that indsutry looks for CV's relevant to the position they're seeking to fill. So find out details of the position and design CV appropriately. Suggest making it one page with "selected" publications - noting full list of publications avilable upon request. Do include an objective statement.
