Cytochalasin use in stimulation assays - (Apr/09/2014 )
I and many others have used Cytochalasin B in stimulation assays of neutrophils, in for example ROS and degranulation assays. If I understand this correctly it is to enhance the signal. Does anyone know how? I read that CyB inhibits actin filaments and glucose uptake, but this does not make sense in the ROS and degranulation experiments, or?
