Propodium Iodide postive and Annexin V negative - (May/07/2010 )

Hi, I am using Annexin V and propodium iodide to test the apoptosis in THP-1 cells.
There are some cells Propodium Iodide postive and Annexin V negative. Does anybody see something like this?
I believe my AnnexinV is sufficient.

PI positive cells and annexin V negative cells are supposed to be necrotic cells (unless you damaged the membranes of these cells during preparation of the samples).
