cell stainer size - (Dec/10/2009 )
Hi,
I'm getting splenocytes and thymocytes cells for T B cell analysis by FLOW from mice. I saw a lot of people use 100 um stainers to get single cells. We only have 40 um stainers. Can I use them?
Thank you very much.

We've not used any size below 70um ourselves. However, 40um apparently will work just fine (see link) for lymphocyte isolation. Hope this helps

I found this link by entering "strainer t and b cells isolation 40um" in http://www.CellAssays.com "Protocols and Methods" section.
